• THE GRAVITY OF THE GRUDGE

You see a person sentenceed to death
Days counted before their last breath
Done so much pain and unimaginable sorrow.

Now the question is as follows…

Would you feed that person today,
What he or she wouldn’t be able to do tomorrow?

Would you offer the mercy you’d hope to receive?
Or tighten the knot i…Read More

  • Morning Coffee Thoughts

    As the sun rose
    on a calm summer morning,
and I faced the four directions,
    asking for balance,
    understanding,
    and grandmother’s wisdom,
    the Hawk circled
    then landed on the Elm
    down by Willow Creek.

    I thought at first
it was looking for its morning meal,
but it turned in my direction,
    catching my e…Read More

    • It’s beautiful… Definitely relaxing to read and vision. ❤️

    • Thinking of humanity as so small in the cosmos is both humbling and strangely empowering. For all that we are miniscule in the vastness, we can achieve so much through compassion.

  • Heave Silence

    words recede
    when darkness settles
and sound is heard only at the edges
    muffled though they be…
    silent sobs and absolute grief
    louder in my senses
than gunshots and shouts of jubilation
because we all know where hate takes us
but only some will see it
    guess it’s only visible…
from the barrel end of a gun
    to…Read More

    • It sounds like moment of redemption. The darkness seems to have control it all.

It talks about gunshots, shouts of jubilation over hate, and staying “triggered.” It’s that “eye for an eye” energy where the fight never ends because everyone is “just warming up” to hurt each other back.

      • The only way to fight hate is with love and compassion. Standing together in the face of adversity and having each other’s back.

        • Yes exactly… With love always to defeat against the darkness that will not win. Good write keep it up .

  • 12th in Emptiness, Oblivion, and the Breeze That Knows Too Much

    April 12th rises
    like a hollow bowl.
A day carved out of absence,
    light as a rib,
    quiet as a room
    after everyone has left
    but the air still remembers
    their names.

This is the day of emptiness
    not the cruel kind,
    not the collapsing void,
    but the soft, spacious…Read More

  • The Moment I Stay Still

You want to steal my heart
    and keep it…
but you say it like you’re certain
    I won’t notice.

Maybe I’ll let you get close enough
    to try.

    Maybe I wanted to see
    how you’d hold it,
    whether your hands tremble
    before they tighten
    when something precious
    leans your way.

But don’t mistake my stillness…Read More
