The Moment I Stay Still
You want to steal my heart
and keep it…
but you say it like you’re certain
I won’t notice.Maybe I’ll let you get close enough
to try.Maybe I wanted to see
how you’d hold it,
whether your hands tremble
before they tighten
when something precious
leans your way.But don’t mistake my stillness
for surrender.Sometimes I stay
very, very still
just to see
how bold you’ll become.1 Comment

Turning the other cheek is always a bold way to handle it. Good work keep it up.
