I’m a millennial, but I relate better to people of the older generation.

I’m new to this site. This is the first piece I’ve read that I can connect with.

Thank you Rosie. I think sometimes some folks have older souls, relating to others which gives us more depth and insight.
Welcome to Starsrite. Hope to read and see your work soon.

Haha!!! One of the realest testimonies [poems] I’ve ever read
Real talk on both ends [perspectives]
  Dope shit and much needed

  Much respect

We all have traveled that road of regret. And some are still on it with no off ramp.

This has some unexpected twists and turns.

But it is indeed, a reality check for some.

If only she had fertility issues. It wouldn’t be a nightmare unfolding. x

Twist and turns in the process of regret can lead to negativity.

      That’s true.

      Some difficult circumstances to overcome.

I admire the originality of the piece. And how it is so realistic.

I have lived it many times throughout my life. Now being older, wisdom has prevented me from making some of the same mistakes.

  Chère F.,
  A subtle prayer
  A declaration of love
  Is all that I am
  Thinking of….

You are a class of/on your own (what do I know of your language?)

And this question answer format is a beautiful find.
Needless to say I love it to bits.
  Warm regards, Gus

This is such a sigh-worthy piece. I think most of us embark on that journey with these hopes. For some, it lasts. For others…not so much. I love the fierce optimism in this one

Fia, this is a jubilant celebration of love that you paint with lyrical wonder. I enjoyed this so much my heart sang as I read. You really made me so happy reading this tonight. I am rejoicing through the magic of your poetic and loving poem of an eternal flame that cannot be extinguished.
