Steadfast Flame
Do not tire, do not fade
your small light still guides the way.Lift your hands, whisper your hope
let mercy fall where hearts are closed.Breathe, and breathe again
grace softens stone
faith carries flame.Rise each day
extend your hand
your devotion flows
into the unseen, the unheard
everlasting.1 Comment -

realities unexpected
contemplative reflection
pain unspokeneverything locked inside a vacuum
where the wall of it…

to disagree
as long as the disagreement
keeps agreeing
with the deeper, quieter truth
that…Read More -

18, The Nervous Breakdown of the Month
April 18th does not walk in.
It bursts.
It arrives trembling,
breathing too fast,
eyes wide,
hands shaking
as if it has been running
from itself all night. This is the day of the nervous breakdown,
the day when the month
finally admits
it has been faking composure
since the…Read More - Load More Posts

Love the art work!! It’s true I think, that we need to keep on going, to be the hope that keeps the lights on or the candle lit. Often, I think, people do not understand the effect they have on others, how their words or actions give people hope, a reason to keep going on. Our world suffers and it is the flame of hope that offers a way out.…Read More
