    • The image that heads this page and these near perfect words will be visited many more time today by me (and I hope many others too ).. Oh’ and believe me, I have no doubt I shall hear & in my mind feel the cool rush of the first rains of autumn again and again .. But enough of that for now ..

I feel compelled to point out that in my opinion, You have poemed a masterpiece and left it here as a gift for all those who either stumble upon it by accident as well as those like me who purposefully made their way here .. I know for a fact I have waited a long time for it to arrive .. but .. & it’s a BIG and true BUT, I could certainly feel it coming .. I only hope, wish and pray that one day, a certain someone will realise or otherwise be made aware that such a beautiful love poem features them in all but their name .. I can only imagine how awesome a feeling that would be .. Wishing You Peace, Love, strong black coffee and All other Good Things from my world to thine .. 🌻⭐💛👍

      • I think Mr. Neville is toooo generous to this G girl to the point of spoiling, BUT it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t like it😊. Thank You for such a sweet, uplifting, thoughtful and most kind review, it surely leaves my heart smiling specially after this long time of no writing, considering my latest few years and months, I don’t know if I will be able to write frequently as I used to, but I want to and I will try to keep the ink spilling. Thank You again with EVERYTHING beautiful and EVERYTHING you deserve 💖 sending You many graces 🌸🕊️🌺💕✨

    • My absolute pleasure my dear Friend .. 🌻⭐💛👍

    • The image and aroma of “Frankincense in the early morning/ and sudden rain”, not only ushers in a beautiful love poem but entices the reader to go on a wonderful journey into the colors and wonders of Autumn, to a place “where the heart sings of sentiment”, and where someone can find the “mystic of uncertainty”. WOW!! Such delightful lines of poetry. And I agree with Neville, I too, hope that whoever this poem is for, reads it and comes to “read you every night”, and writes you poetry.

I am so glad that I found this poem, Light (an appropriate pen name), it’s extremely moving.
      -Curt

      • That’s what I can call a heartwarming masterpiece review😊 with deep kindness Thank You for taking the time to read and feel my poem with your beautiful heart, leaving me this sweet gift✨ many bright appreciations Mr. Curt💖

    • Beautiful writing…sincerely.

    • You are so sweet, kind and caring my friend, thank You so much for leaving another lovely gift on my poem, deeply appreciated 🤍💖

    • Tremendous work. I love it.

    • Beautifully penned, Light. Excellent write with dazzling imagery my friend. Appreciate you.

      Damian

      • I appreciate your visit and kindness too😊 Thank You so much for taking the time to read my poems and leave your thoughts my friend.

    • Days shorten
      Dreams lengthen

    • “I am waiting for you,
      under a new anticipated poem.
      and until October comes,
      keep me beautiful beside you.
      and read me every night,
      a hold of you,
      till I fall asleep
and become a vision of love.”

      Sighhh!🌿

I’ve been wondering to where such passionately blessed poetesses have vanished? Now, realizing the queen of romantic wonderment has returned, having only been on hiatus, tending to those fortunate enough in her life to receive the incomparable treasures of her gently giving, affectionately caring ⁓ free spirit.

Radiating from the thrilling ambiancel of “a hold of Autumn” I’m gently, irresistibly drifted back to those many moments I could not wait each day to run and read just such enthrallingly captivating sentiments of pure love, pristine beauty, and blissful caresses composed so warmly and tenderly sincere unto luck-lucky me.

Alas, c’est la vie … they live as vividly now as ever; yet, in the yearning depths of my heart’s and soul’s eternally grateful memory.

With a masterful stroke of her artistically-blessed pen, filled by virtue of her magical skills in blending words, phrases, and imagery into endless colours, hues, and textures, she creates a virtual universe that dismisses the world around us, sweeping (ever-so smoothly) every eagerly willing, captively spellbound heart awayyy … annnd, what a perfect photo to set the ambiance of this incomparably wondrous moment.

This illustriously rendered poem stands as testament to how powerfully enchanting a master’s pen truly can be, and ohhh, how I love and miss it so.
Thank you, Dear Ghounwah, from my heart for sharing this spellbinding poetic composition from your depthless well of precious love! ⁓ Richard🖌

      • Good Wonder Morning Mr. Syr~

It is a wonder-ful morning when someone reads such deeply sincere and heartfelt words, the most sparkling little stars dancing upon my page, but it’s not new from You The Master Bard and Reviwer, You always have been so generous and caring not only to me but to everyone even when You are giving advices for us, You did it without making us feel less or upset. I really appreciate every nuances You’ve left me here with your incomparable kindness and wisdom, I hope life is treating You with the same kindness You deserve but I also know as You’ve said, life is life.

Sending You many grateful thanks and deep appreciation and respect, Stay Well 🙏🏻🤍✨🕊️

    • This is a brilliant and honest look at the collaborative process. You perfectly capture the tension and the beauty of it. The line “Turning glass back into sand” is an amazing image for the way things come together.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Roma. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I love that line as well. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Collaborations are a dance in a way. Got to read your partner. It’s tricky to get magic but when it works it’s beautiful.

      Great ink friend.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Nick. So glad you connected with the write my friend. It is a dance, that can be magical indeed. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • I remember you from the ember DU days (daze?) but our paths never crossed. You were always so encouraging and supportive of fellow comrades. That is an art in itself. Keep writing fella.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Ghosteen. So glad our paths finally crossed then, nice meeting you my friend. Welcome to Stars Rite! Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Great and beautifully written reflections, dear Damian! I agree, the collaboration process is an art itself. Different writing styles collide, and if they are harmonic, the result will read like penned with one ink. When the styles are very different, maybe a piece of abstract art will be created. The diversity of possible collaborations makes them beautiful and interesting!

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Elke. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I agree with you totally, it is like a dance of sorts. But it is a magical process. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Even Lennon and McCartney couldn’t get along in the end. Collaborations are famous throughout history. But sometimes ideas go in different directions, ego’s overtake, and animosity takes over. It can be sad, very sad when things fall apart.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Tim. So glad you connected with the write my friend. That is true, a lot of duo’s grow apart. People can grow apart over time. Addiction, sobriety, faith, and starting families all have an effect on the collective relationship. It can be sad, indeed. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Friends drift apart. As you mentioned in your last comment. Also we just change. Many things we don’t enjoy or like from when we were kids or teenagers. Keeping a friend or two from your youth though is important. I feel it’s the bridge to a life that was a simpler, more meaningful time. We grow old, but the kid inside never dies. Great write Damian.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Keith. So glad you connected with the write my friend. Very true, time itself changes people. I’m connected with my inner child. lol. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • I always find collaborating incredibly intimidating. How to find a balance where both voices carry equal weight? Some styles are more dominating & others more gentle. But I’ve seen jarringly different styles woven beautifully in a single piece. I love the glass back to sand metaphor. Deconstructing to its base element. All comes from the same beach, as it were. The places your pen travels, my friend…

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the write my friend. My favorite line! It’s a dance for sure, sometimes teetering on the brink of disaster, only to be saved at the last possible moment of the grand finale. At least that’s my experience with the whole process. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • I have been asked many times but even though I am occasionally tempted, I have always tended to shy away .. having said that, I have a great deal of admiration for anyone who chooses to go down that particular poetic and or storytelling route & gets something out of it other than enjoyment or a headache .. I imagine that here you have given this particular reader something to think about long after the curtain has been drawn .. Kindest regards to both you n your pen Damian .. Neville

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Neville. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I’ve collaborated in songwriting, not as much on poetry, though I’ve done a few. It’s a dance basically, and chemistry plays a big part. But it’s a cool experience, never say never my friend. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • It’s an remarkable article in favor of all the online people; they will obtain advantage from it I am sure.

    • Awesome poetry, Styx. I always enjoy your articulation.

    • Thank you Tim. I’m trying to get away from my long prose pieces and attempt things more poetic. My goal anyway. LOL.

    • This gives me hints of Egypt and Africa. The chalice is a beautiful offering of self. Love this.

      • Thanks Fia. That is an interesting comment. Because Del is actually doing a piece of artwork for one of her writes, and the pic has a very obvious nod to Africa.

    • Beautifully penned, Mark. Incredible imagery my friend, amazing write. Appreciate you.

      Damian

      • Thank you Damian. I already see some slight edits that it needs. LOL.
I usually blurt my writes out like blood from a bad cut. But this one I built. -Trying to step up my game a bit i guess.
Good to see you still kicking it up in here!

    • And this is why Mark. This is why we write. Impeccable as ever. Tis always been a joy to read you. Do I get an invite to the wedding? A Welshman running loose under U.S of A skies.

Need to share this. It cut me like a blade into the guts, but I have moved on. There will never be enough room in my heart to thank the likes of you and Gary. In redemption, Rob

    • Ah but Rob, I’m only a two generation back American. My people were boat people. LOL. I enjoy the diversity of cultures, obviously. It is how we progress as humans. Yes? All of my years in the Army further strengthened that belief.
Del and I are not rushing a wedding. And, we just may elope to Vegas when the time comes. So far we are still doing the airplane rides back and forth to see each other. (Jobs, etc… ) But the future is obviously obvious for us.
As for writing, I’m still hacking at what I hope is worthy reads. I look for like-minded writers such as yourself, that are into the crafting of it all. No fluff, no generic porn just for attention. I will take a handful of dedicated writers to surround myself with, because it betters me. It was a reward discovering your own material. And still is. Som thank you for the comradery.

    • Oh. This read makes me feel like molten lava. Truly. It’s not rushed and had me smiling the whole time I read it. I have not written in a while. Material like this gets me motivated. I wish I had 4 arms! I’d get more work done! Great nod to intimacy honey. This is fantastic! Love you:)

      • You do not need four arms. You have plenty of awesome bodily abilities just as you are! What!
And hey, you’ve been very busy getting your book done! New writes can wait. You’re accomplishing something epic!
        You motivate me! Smooches babydoll!

    • Reading this poem felt like stepping into a sanctuary where intimacy becomes devotion. Its language carries a quiet heat, dignified yet deeply stirring. “Your fingers are pilgrims” and “read me in cursive” stood out to me as moments of profound connection, not just passion. The closing image, “a candle still warm at the wick,” leaves a soft afterglow – a reminder that some encounters echo long after they’ve passed.

    • Wonderful comment, Romaj.
I’m finding some keen motivation here in Starsrite, to write what I hope to be quality reads. Include yourself in that motivation. You are a gifted writer.
The “warm at the wick” was my fav idea and carried this write for me. A snuffed candle, yet that served its purpose.

    • This is an outstanding, passionate and heart touching piece, Styxian! The imagery and the wording are brilliant! I love how you elevate your relationship to a higher spiritual level by using cross references to the divine, like the Psalms or the chalice!

      • Alas, Sappho, I do not know the exactness of spirituality. I myself lean towards aliens more than religion for a so called higher power. Yet, there is something out there, that makes us elevate our dreams, our thoughts, our love… Religion is handy in that regard.
Sometimes, a relationship seems “heavenly” even. Above our norms. And, reading others’ material seems to steer me at times towards a direction to write about. That’s where good writes come in. It feeds me to try my own. So you keep doing what you do. You’re top tier.

    • Very muchly enjoyed sir .. Neville 😎👍

    • “I am yours, not for the night,
but for the echo it leaves in our bones.” This thought spoke to me Styxian. The whole of the poem did as well. There is a feel of REAL Love, the kind that shares not only the intimacy, but everything that life presents to both of you. A sharing that leads to a hold-fast bond. I don’t think many have this kind of shared connection, or this kind of love. You express it delicately as well as passionately. Really, nicely written Styxian.

      -Curt

      • Actually I dwelled on that part for quite a bit. I changed it a little, changed it back. And here you are highlighting it as a positive. So thank you for reassuring me that it is okay as is.
And I appreciate your comment as a whole, as well.
