    • Short but said so much. Just walk it off. Something to keep in mind.

    • Terrific little write.

Having dealt with the darkness of depression myself I can feel your friends soul just aching for peace.

Bloody scary but the only way out of suffering is in….give your friend a hug from me.
      🙏🙏🙏

      • The only way out is in…truth there. Unfortunately my friend needs help finding a light source at this point. Too deep and too dark and there’s no exit found. Or rather, only a final exit. Thank you, Peter

    • When my friend explained the things they were unable to get done because of the debilitating depression, the doctor actually asked “Why not? Why don’t you just don’t it?” My friend responded (quite rightly, I thought) with “fuck you.” If they don’t understand they judge. When they judge, it adds to the damage. I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to just be kind to each other. Thank you, my friend

    April 20th does not speak.
    It enters the room
    like someone carrying a secret
    too heavy for language.

    No greetings.
    No warnings.
    Just a presence,
    dense, deliberate,
    a stone placed gently
    on the month’s trembling chest.

    This is the day
    that keeps itself in silence,
    not out of fear,
    not out o…Read More

  • SPRING

    Only weather, never the same,
no shape, no edge, no final form.

A current moving through the ground,
    low and humming, without sound.

The earth remembers how to lean,
    from winter’s weight into green.

    Not arrival, only return.

The soil forgets its frozen past,
    slowly breaking, vast.

    Rain remembers how to fall,
