This entry is part 7 of 52 in the series Our love story

I miss my home Naeyi Dilli

the city which embraced me so much as their daughter

the roads, the metro, the pani puri wala, and the shops

I used to say Good morning to watchman, who sits and watched who

is coming an going

I used to eat the light tiffin in his 4 wheeler store and his taste of making was like a star hotel chef

I miss my home which is situated in a group of beautiful buildings,

which only make a fearful state of mind, when i think my Jacob has stayed here and i walk along his steps following him

I miss Ramu the servant, when i handover my gifts to my motherinlaw,

he used to say why you are not coming inside

I miss the road where my fatherinlaw used to go for a walk, other watchman used to call him David saheb

I miss the rickshaw wallas, bus drivers, and the passengers in bus used to say me

we know you havent travelled in bus before, because I couldnt get into bus so quickly

I miss the street shopping the kurtis and tops, and earrings where i used to buy, because i buy petty stuff i hardly use them more 2 times. So i never go to buy rich stuff.

I miss the door of my home when i touched i see the finger prints of my Jacob

I used to think in which room he stays, downstairs or upstairs, home has become my heaven though i didnt get inside

I missed the India gate, which make me proud to salute the martyrdom, who sacrificed for country, and i will not be tired to read each of their name engraved on it

I missed twice to see the parade, didnt buy the tickets, i used to think i am still watching as before like in TV though i stay in DELHI.

The city gave me ideas what website i could make to help the people and especially the train travel.

I missed the Taj Mahal, which i couldnt get a chance to visit.

My heart the city hails the heart of India

where my home is situated.

Jessy Jacob.

My pen writes out of my heart feelings.
