It was a stormy night,

uneven breaths
Β a handful of tears on my palms;

βcary me over with love
pure, unharmed.β
βcall me the soul,
and bring me April rain for mercy.β
Β I am bonded both,
to heaven and earth.
Β Β Β I feel you,Β
Β you are still
the morning light over leaves.
the sadness of separation,
and the anticipation of spring.
Β and I still feel it in you,Β
the strength of April’s surrender
to flowering and storms,
Β You are the growth of colours over the sea.
the comfort in ~believe.Β
From early spring
to late winter,
in the morning chillness
to evening stillness,
comes sudden at times,
a note of gratitude
tender like you,
β’Thank you’ for touching me
making me feel both,
a soul and a human.β
