Since it’s November
the month of near endings,
let’s write today something usual
of how the wane sun
still finds its shine
through winter’s trails,
and how days come and go
things change or disappear,
life is stilled
and still here are you and me,
authentic
from the very beginning.
The path that lead
to the moment of we,
revealing something
ancient and eternal
awakening the divine with a new sense
that love is not an emotion,
but a remembernce
stored in a heartbeat.
Silence met wisdom
and the word became you
mirrored in my presence,
not as a man
not as a woman,
but as the river carrying earth
as the rose holding its breath.
Confirming,
it is all around
it is all within me
as it is all within you.

He longs my voice
and to him I speak
in the echoes of the roses
across fertile vallies,
and to him I give
endless hyms
resonated in alabaster jars
to worship an eternal reunion.
