Summary:
Ache does the heart too late

The cold feels infinite
In this space between us
As the moon drifts further
From the warmth of the sun
Undetected was the increasing chill
And the days growing longer
Grief fully engulfing the moon
When the frost overtook
Did the sun ever notice the rift?
It is the moon who suffers the ice
Whilst the sun continues its blaze
Will it ever discover the cavity
That was once the moon?
Or has it been simply overlooked
By a planet more fitting for the sun?
Though the moon has many planets
To keep it just barely frozen
Never did the moon realize
How much the sun was needed
For it to keep alive
Generous are the planets
To love a wretched, cold moon
With care, they tend to her
But eternally hollow it will be
