Ruins Of A Rose

HomePoetryRuins Of A Rose

Skin on green grass
Legs entwined
Subtly dissolve in the soil

Roses among broken glass
Coffins the size of buildings
And they face giants with petals

Branches reaching for daffodils
With their Sapphic thoughts, assorted by a fatal kiss
And their fetal love, and uteropoetic thrust

The moon wants his money back
For velvet hands lay with thorns
As a blend of masochism and ero-aesthetic.
