Of all the things I love the most
‘Tis love itself I truly boast
For in this world of anger and fear
‘Tis love itself I still hold dear
Though I live in lonely solemnity
I regard love with such necessity
Yet the road of love is full of curves
That twist and turn and test the nerves
Love is patient, and love is swift
It rescues those who are adrift
She brings them back to luscious lands
And guides us all with gentle hands
So shall I stay in love’s good grace
To look upon my soulmate’s face
Of all the things I love the most
‘Tis love itself I truly boast

Beautiful.
