Summary:
I read at the Clear Lake Public Library. Here's a link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMbrfKP2H38 My latest 3 books are available on Amazon.

Your love is like a frozen bird, a
feathered stone falling from the sky.
I wish it didn’t die.
It should be flying, and soring, and
healing, against the warm blaze of
the afternoon sun–weaving and
diving through the coolness of the clouds.
But it’s gone, and all it can do is
plummet and take a few more
birds out, on its way down.

    1. Thomas this took me on a journey into the heart of love and the sadness of lost love. I may be wrong but what I read as I read this seemed to speak to me of a man remembering his beloved who has passed from this earth. I have known this emotion so closely that your poem enshrines with poetry for the ages.
