Summary:
I may have posted this before.
Their heads are in the clouds.

They seem to float
with eyes content
staring into cell phone screens,
soaking up dopamine
like hummingbirds
hovering above nectar.

I watch them,
witness them
on streets,
benches,
trains.

Their moods are contemplative
as they wander
from here to there.

Wandering down streets,
meandering
above the ground.

They roam like clouds,
seemingly unaware
of buildings,
of traffic,
until they’ve slipped by
out of sight,
replaced
by other clouds.

    1. AKA zombies. The world is tuning out more and more. Thankfully we all have us here! In a way, writing makes us leaders. Not followers. By the examples of “life” we bring in.
      Awesome write, Tim.
