I can sense a shattered emotional connection.
Decaying miserably, upon disrepair.
Healing is what matters the most going forward. x

I love this revenge piece!
It’s bold, daring and powerful.
I embrace your inner strength throughout the stanzas.
I’m totally hooked…

There’s a grit here that tastes like smoke and victory—scorched bridges and unbroken will.
I love how it doesn’t just rise from ashes; it struts, unafraid, daring the past to even try again. -
Cowards die a thousand times but the courageous only once.
Courage you don’t lack and that is reflected in this uplifting piece.

Powerfully penned, Willow. Into the book it belongs! Excellent write but I expect nothing less from you my friend, and you always deliver the goods. The grit as Thomas put it, is chef’s kiss.. You hit this one out of the park! Like a phoenix you have risen from the ashes. I like in the movie “Death To Smoochy” when the one guy said: “I’ve risen like a beautiful Phoenix, or some other town in Arizona!” lol. I’ll get more marshmallows for the bonfire my friend. Appreciate you.

Crimson, your poem reads much of laden sadness and reluctance. Love sometimes becomes distorted and misrepresented in relationships when love, respect, integrity and honesty is not reciprocated.
