Yes. I don’t think the system rewards people for working hard all their lives. We used to have a pension system and a retirement plan. Now you either work till you die, or retire into bankrupcy.

Fia, this is one of the best poems defining the realities of love gone wrong that I have read. Your introspection here is precisely articulate, emotionally honest to a tee, and powerful.
