    Tangerine Sky

Some poems seem to writethemselves;I just move the pen.Others are like lumpsof clay;they refuse to be molded;they need moisture and time. This one is likea robin that just learnedto use its wings. It heads west, on agentle breeze, intoa tangerine sky.

    Fear of Word Blindness

Fear of Word Blindness   Banks of blank ivorine stacked high but thinly like old oriental   lacquered tsuba .. Each scream both loud and high enough to shatter those fragile hand blown champagne flutes you   long treasured .. Whereas, somewhere else completely, rows of old scribes sit cross legged in their temples calmly contemplating white...

    • This gives me old Korean movies with the monks or a person taking notes, sitting and writing, and people ignoring them as they go about having their conversations.
      Interesting

    • Tremendous work, my friend.

    • Nice, pleasant work.

    • I see it as concern for a world that may be in trouble or a culture that may be disappearing.
      Nice one Neville. (Relic)

    • I’m not sure if I got You right here, but in my mind I see it as the fear of writer’s block, maybe because I see myself here with the white pages waiting for words… Good Coffee Saturday ☕

    Barely Visible Indentations

Barely Visible Indentations   They were always such delicate and pretty little indentations, that I could never quite get my head around, nor fully understand why she ever tried to hide them in the first place .. After all, they served only to mark briefly...

    The Train

A damp purple sky died slowly into night. Rain fell over the space port rail junction. The wet rails shone like knives in the white artificial light.   The leech-trains rolled in, bleeding passengers onto the platforms, sucking up those who...

    • If you follow Rick Beato you must be a music enthusiast.
I have seen Rick discussing the impact of AI in the music industry and even he has said it’s getting harder to identy human from digitally created music.
The same can be said for any ‘writing’ site….who is doing the writing.
I for one, would never post an AI produced piece without declaring it.
Sometimes, I’ll write a piece, get AI to tidy it up and then post both versions and let others decide which is better.Usually, it’s the AI free version .
      Its a crazy old world.🌞

      • Yes it is, Peter. I’m a drummer of 52 years. Thanks for the comment.

    • Hell yeah, Beato, has a great show. Appreciate you.

    • There a few things in life I detest more than AI .. and I can only think of four members of my own species that fall into that category .. All of whom are supposedly world leaders and one of which has no intelligence whatsoever, let alone artificial .. 😎👍I found this to be a compelling read which could prove write for further debate .. • I fear this is going to be a case of “the internet is forever”. Once it’s been used to train an AI, which somehow it seems like it already has, I don’t think deleting it will remove it from its “memory”. We’re entering a brave new world of technology and I’m quickly starting to feel very unprepared for it.

      • I can relate to your feelings, Green. Thanks for the comment.

    • Powerful and poignant
