      • Sounds like a rough world in which to live. The writing lives on and on…

      • DAMN! You’ve seen it all. Your description and detail is razor sharp. Explicit, and some readers may have a hard time with this material. But goddamn it’s to the point and marvelously executed.

      The Grim Reaper

The Grim ReaperThe old woman was taking a walk through the forest, like she did every day before breakfast.  She enjoyed the  fresh morning air and the silence. There was hardly anyone outside at this early hour. To her...

      • Hello Elke. Outstanding story. A stellar piece of writing that captures so much detail and intrigue. A perfect piece for this time of year. Well done my friend. xo

        • Thank you so much for reading and your kind comment, dear Keith! Your comments always tear my heart wide open with gratitude and awe!

      • Quite the riveting tale, Sappho! It was very clever of you to switch up the common portrayals of death and love. I enjoyed all the natural references and surprises you sprinkled throughout this piece. Excellent write, my friend.

      Love Sonnet XLVIII

Love Sonnet XLVIII   Yaara, I must ask, what are your intentions, your promises? Will you give my heart peace, or will you bring me rain? Will you find me in these shadows, in the dark   places where I roam? It is here I...

      Love Sonnet LXVI

Love Sonnet LXVI   When I was younger, life seemed easier, filled with sun light adventures of us holding hands while walking through   a forest of Aspen and green. But, as I grew older, a Winter wind blew in my face, no mater which way I turned.   Then I...

      • Love love this one… it’s one of those that flows sweetly from the heart into ours, just how love should flows. “welcome the chaos of your smile” how gorgeous this line is… expressing the bittersweet mess love can make us feel, it will stick in my head along other lines too, oh perfect poetry of love ✨💖💕 I like the song too, it fits the emotional ambiance. Thank You🤍

        • Hi Light. Can’t go wrong with the Moody Blues. Their music is poetry. That line came to me as I was thinking about the woman who became my true love. She left me for another, for a more “normal” life, but I still think about her.

Thanks Light, I appreciate your comments and visits muchly.

          • Hi and Good Evening ✨

Sorry to hear about that, but let’s us say even sadness can be an inspiration and birth good poetry 😊

            Wishing You Happy Days 🎈

      • Ms. Mary, within a smile, worlds collide, kaleidoscopes swirl colors, and hearts beat faster into a blush. In other words, CHAOS!!! Who knows what would, or could have happened had those letters been sent, or words spoken? Perhaps a wonderful chaos?

Thank you, Mary. I always look forward to your visits and words.

          • oops didn’t mean to send that too short of a reply. I read your paper? instructions about the nature of and what constitutes a formally written English Sonnet. I am afraid I have only ever attempted one. If I can find it I will post in the “Back To Poetry Basics” group. This group was mented to me by Valuptas Whispers Unholy. and then I saw Fia’s…Read More
