If I were happy all the time, I would not be part of this world either. Very introspective piece. Happy New Year.

A collection of lost pens arrived here. A community was borne of that collective. It takes many stars to light the skies, and many kinds. Happy New Year!

I’m glad you are here and in charge, Fia. This turned out to be a great site. May all who visit this star leave with a wish to always come back again.

I love how this starts as a simple falling rock and transforms into a star carrying a message. There’s a sweet, gentle wonder in your lines, and I like the way you celebrate all the shades of life while tipping a hat to Stars Rite. It feels heartfelt and luminous—like a small gift to readers.

Your words convey a valuable message, and with poetic flair. How admirable, too, that you include us all.
-
Without you Fia, this place would be like many other poetry sites…BORING! You’ve done so well with creating and giving your all into starsrite. May your 2026 be a healthy & happy one! xo

You help make it worthwhile, dear Fia. Your efforts are noticed and appreciated. As well as your creative additions.
Happy New Year!

The Cailleach’s time of year is indeed a difficult one for many of us, my friend. When the sky refuses to wear that magnetic blue I love, I regrettably find myself “Winter Whining” as well haha. Your writing style and images here are akin to a cheekier Robert Louis Stevenson. Thank you for superbly poetizing your winter woes!

Thank you very much Clay, I appreciate your comment.
The weather in the Central valley of California has been pretty much the same. I can count the number of sunny days from the past 3 months and the morning fog seems to get worse. But either way, it allows me to observe and express this “seasonal depression” which isn’t too bad.
Hope you’re doing well.

Oh boy, do I relate to this one! I would say spring is coming, but there’s 2 things about that…allergies if it does come; and no guarantee it will. We’ve talked our environment to the point that nothing is solid and predictable. I totally get this one

Dear W,
A very relatable write. I hate having to get up in sections to make sure I don’t injure something in the process. And when did my nose become a faucet?? I wish I’d invested in tissue stock. Great to see you and Happy New Year! H 🌷
