This reminds me of a conversation I had with my friend once. I said “If my friend is going under, I’m going in after them.” And his reply was “Wow, not a lot of people are willing to enter darkness for the sake of someone else.” Which might be part of the world’s problems, in my opinion. This has a lot of depth and compassion in it

Powerfully penned, Mstrmnd. Depression is a powerful beast that twists and distorts everything around us, I speak from experience of course. The important thing is to always look towards the light, if you’re climbing towards that light, eventually you get out of the hole. That’s my best advice. It’s not easy but worth it. I echo your thoughts Damian. I mentioned to a friend the other day that everything is corrupt now – Companies…people in business…the government…car dealers…you name it. It’s like we’ve gotten to a point where scamming people is the norm now. Great write my friend.
