      • Shivering, lovely, creepy shivers down your spine… now that tells me I achieved what I set out to make here… thank you!

In fact, your comment inspired me to continue this little gothic-romance thread, haha. Part six coming today!

      • Hauntingly romantic with creepy tenderness, Daniel. To be honest, I need something to spark creativity in me and this made me pose thought to a genre I’ve yet to really spill ink in. I look forward to reading more in your series.

        • Thank you, Pandy. My genre is Gothic-Surrealism. Though I didn’t invent the term, I’ve used it in a literary sense instead of art. Thanks, again and find that spark!

      • Isn’t funny how time and events shape us but the eyes show everything. Nice poem

        • Everything changes but the eyes remain.the window of the soul. Thanks for reading. Hopefully it brought an old memory or two. 🌼

      • this is hauntingly beautiful I feel like I am not the same person at all and wonder where that person went great write 💕

        • We’re ever changing, and yet, the inner child remains, the touchstone all else is measured by..I hope you’re doing better 🌼

      • Dear AJ,

This makes me see sepia toned memories of my own childhood. Although we were carving these pictures into cave walls. There is definitely a gentle melancholy in this piece for innocence and more time. Lovely write. H🌷

        • Thoughts of childhood bring nostalgia. Simpler times, no responsibilities – just you always blaming me for pulling your pony tail. As if such would ever cross.my innocent mind 🌼😋
