Thank you..and thats a great question..I think some if not most might do..maybe there’s that brief moment of reflection or introspection where you realize suicide wasnt the solution but its not reversible..its a very dynamic and complicated matter for sure..and more discussion is def needed. Its a sad and tragic part of life that many ppl(family and friends)have dealt with..a haunting experience for loved ones for sure..thank you for commenting..I appreciate it

Perhaps in his contrition he realized a schmaltzy and powerful truth — “you live once then you’re dead forever”. I cannot recall where I read it but that line has helped me stay around for 8 years. The simple things… you know? Thank you for sharing this incredible write!

Another piece that leans me in the direction of what is happening with the protection of those involved
in the trafficking…Despicable people protected by their wealth.
They are diseased and need to be put out of their ecstasy…

It is quite disturbing how the wealthy can buy anything and then cover up their evil doings..sadly I feel the victims will never have the justice they deserve and everything that has happened to them is just a talking point during this moment in time and will be forgotton in the near future..its also sad how these poor victims are used as weapons from our leaders from both sides of the aisle and at the end of the day most political leaders don’t care about the actual victims just the story they can narrate by using them

“The jewes are the people that will not be blamed for nothing.” There was a lot of prejudice against jews in Whitechapel and the entire east end in 1888. I knew what this was about as soon as I saw the title. He left a leather apron behind after one of the killings. Possible Annie Chapman, not sure. Mary Kelly got it the worst, he had plenty of time with her. Excellent poem with great rhymes . I’m glad I read this.

I often wonder about those who comit suicide,if at the point of no return, they reconsider their options.
Well written piece about a subject that needs much more open discussion.
