But the moon’s thoughts were deceiving
Providing light while giving cover
Innocent victims soon will suffer
A couple out for a romantic date
Dinner and drinks the vibe was great
But on the way home after leaving the bar
Down a dark alley approaching their car
From the shadows a man appears
The knife’s silhouette casts screams of fear
Told to give up their cash and jewelry
For their own survival they had to agree
Two young girls dancing at the club
Having a blast but unknowingly drugged
An aggressive man with a sinister grin
On the dance floor dancing between them
Whispering words softly in their ears
Convincing them back to his hotel near
They followed him there to continue the fun
Morning after memories are never undone
A desperate man who was looking for a fix
Pulled a gun out from his bag of tricks
Attacking the man dealing in business unknown
This late night meeting gone terribly wrong
His car was stolen, gun shot to the head
Collapsing to the pavement and bleeding dead
Whispers echo in the howling wind
As secrets of the moon soon apprehend
The moon laughing at his chaotic deceit
While blood runs down the dark lit street
With twisted thoughts that now are deepening
