All of us should be more tolerant and supportive, and most important of all, focus on inner wealth instead of appearance. Of course, being mocked isn’t an apology but maybe the violence could have been prevented.

Yeah, that word has become a constant from me lately. I wrote this one after unsettling personal news and then spent the next 15 minutes just repeating fuck. What they’re doing – while it inspires some powerful poetry and protests – is beneath contemptible. They don’t stop either. I don’t believe I will live long enough to see the damage done just in this one year reversed. I’m not sure my daughter will even live to see that day. It’s unbelievable.
