it recedes…but it’s not leaving

continually growing
a series of tidal emotions

the lack of compassion
the self before others stance
and the destruction of community
fuck rich robbing the poor
and their belief that they deserve more
the attitude that they can do…whatever
whenever…with impunity
and the system rigged in their favor
fuck healthcare that doesn’t care about health
that takes your money but won’t pay out
that deems treatment unneeded
even to save a human life
and their inhumane pharmaceutical price
fuck the imagined disparity
between you and me
pitting one against another
to keep us from supporting each other
when we’re all individuals of the same humanity
fuck the belief that they’re better than me
because of skin, religion or gender
that their way is the right way
theirs the one and only truth
when it’s all complete bullshit
fuck the laws written to oppress
to keep the privileged few in control
designed to maintain that status quo
where the majority have the right to die
while rapists land in the White House
nah, my Fuck It list isn’t finished
I really wish it would
but they keep giving me so many reasons
and anger is safer when vented like this
because it still needs an outlet
hello beautiful Willow for let me say this is a powerful message with a great flow I am also sad about these things I don’t know what the answer is…I hate how people are treated I have skin ailment and can’t even get a refferal to a dermatologist because my primary says so… I hate how animals are treated it all makes me ill… what counts as compassion in this life it’s like a very painful soul ache to look around and think how can I change it… great write ❤️

I think what makes me saddest is that most of them actually know what’s being done. They just don’t care because it would affect their wallets and money is more important to them than compassion. Yeah, that word has become a constant from me lately. I wrote this one after unsettling personal news and then spent the next 15 minutes just repeating fuck. What they’re doing – while it inspires some powerful poetry and protests – is beneath contemptible. They don’t stop either. I don’t believe I will live long enough to see the damage done just in this one year reversed. I’m not sure my daughter will even live to see that day. It’s unbelievable. Selfish, racist, sexist fucks. Thank you so much for feeling this as I did 🧡
