    Silence

Sit in silence Watch and observe They tell you things that are unspoken As they are speaking   Hidden truths Covered in a blanket of lie’s Design to confuse   Practiced smiles Paired with dead eyes You wait…   Wait to see what’s the hook What’s the product What’s the goal   There is only one...

    • hello lovely Fia very interesting write your right of course I tend to talk too much great wite ❤️

      • Thank you Crimsin. I go through times when I am very quiet and I notice things that I normally would not. It’s just a thought that came to me to write about.

        • I understand I too quietly observe within myself when I talk too much I am uncomfortable ❤️

    • Powerfully penned, Fia. Another excellent write my friend. I think being quiet and observing allows us to see things we normally miss because we’re paying attention instead of talking or communicating. Just my opinion though. lol. Nicely done as always. Appreciate you, Cuz.

    • I don’t think most people are comfortable around others who are silent.Silence scares them because they might have to confront themselves honestly.
I really like this one Fia.
Funny though, even the silent ones sometimes talk too much….but I feel that might be a coping strategy for anxiety.

      🙏

    • I liked this piece Fia. Nice.

    • I guess no one would like to be around me because I’m always quite even whether Im around people or alone.

Me I like the silence myself
      Powerful great write

    The Elixir

  • Holding Hands

    When they began
    They held hands
    They smiled
    They illuminated the sky

    • There is a motion, a movement to everything, to life. It has a direction and it is forward, not backward. For love to last, it has to change as the people involved change and as the world around them change. I have found this is how love, or any relationship, evolves, strengthens and continues. It is fun to remember the way we were, but even more…Read More

    • I enjoyed this one. Without a doubt, if holding hands is how it ends…I would not change a thing.

    • Beautifully penned, Fia. Excellent write with amazing storytelling my friend. Dig the Star Trek reference by the way. Nicely done as always. Appreciate you, Cuz.

    • “Would you ever want the loop to end?“
That’s a great, almost philosophical question. Some people like to escape a loop because they only see the endless repetition of the same actions. To me it holds the chance to experience new aspects of old routines on the basis of familiar facts. It’s adventurous and reliable at the same time.
      Great write, dear Fia!

    • I recently had a co worker/friend who lost her husband. He was a young guy too. I read this feeling like you could have wrote this for them, and my heart breaks all over. Thank you for this sad beautiful read.

    • Powerful and poignant. Great write.

    • Wow a lot of times if the love and bond is that strong it would be hard to live without them.
I know a friend who recently past a few months after because he couldn’t live without his beloved wife.

      Powerful great write

    • Finding a soul mate is hard enough in a lifetime but then losing them?
Yes, that ending line does beg the question many people would agree to.
      Great piece.
