This was a great piece Damian. They should have a cemetery for these classic muscle cars. I love the look, the sound and the performance of these cars from the 60’s and 70’s. Great piece of writing Damian.

Okay, I’m gonna admit it. This brought me to tears. The memories I have of wandering salvage yards with daddy, scavenging parts for his current car project, are some of the most precious for me. First the Technical: Excellent consistency with meter, beautifully executed rhyme.
Composition: Incredible depth. As Willow noted, the piece reflects a falling away, a loss of touch and intimacy with no explanation. It’s a death of sorts, and you’ve painted it perfectly. Really well done.
