Nicely done, Adel. You and Gus did an amazing job on this song. Love the trippy effect on the chorus, I’m assuming with reverb.. You got a better voice than I do. Appreciate you.

Chère A.,
Hope this finds you well?!You see, it’s not half as scary as you may have thought I guess.
There’s a first time for all fun and harmless things, and this is such a thing. Kicking some ideas around with a very happy sounding outcome!I simply loved the whole process. I am grateful for you having done this coop with me. And extra grateful for children who support the quirkies of their parents. And a very nice touch of voice doubling on the chorus.
I love it from the first to the last second! Until we’ll meet again… electronically (to prevent gossip – there’s not a first for everything I think). Wish your first song published Tuesday will sound as happy as your voice.
Warm greetings, Gus -
Well, darn. I love how you are branching out in so many directions creatively. And yes, I smile every time you serenade me with this song. (hey thats what you called it!). Props to Gus and Ricky for their help. keep in mind that this is your first try at something like this, and it is not horrible! So don’t knock yourself over it, punk!
And then this evening, you did another poetry reading in your town. Damn! I am so happy sharing your enthusiasm and energy. You are incredible my love.-
Hoi hoi S.,
The line between bragging and pride is thin. I choose pride. Grateful for your listen and comment. You, the reason A. set this up/wrote and sang it, Ricky who supported his mother, and me by the coop all have our role in this. And I love what is happening.
The professionals who have listened so far, mentioned:
– Velvet Underground and Nico
– Early Jefferson Airplane
– Early Blondie
It can’t be bad if profs compare you with their heroes.A. has links and screen dumps of the comments.
I envy her courage and love how this all developed.
Happy Friday/weekend to you and A.
Warm regards, Gus -
Hey you!
Trying something new is always scary for me.
But you only live once and I had to do this! It felt wrong for someone else to sing those words.
They are from me to you!
So yeah. We all did an our best with this coop and I am very proud of how it turned out.
And hey! It’s Friday!! I’ll be seeing you next week punk! HahahaLove you babe

Nicely done! Especially this line:
sending you vivid dreams
of how the night has short curves
and breathes falling stars
and breathes falling stars
that traveled 51 yearsThat gave me chills.
Thank you for sharing

Hey chica! Thank you!
I was terrified posting this, had a stomach ache and everything! Hahaha
Turns out I didn’t have a heart attack so it all went great.
My son has his set up in his room and helped immensely!I’ve also started going to open mic night for poetry in my community
Now that almost gave me a heart attack!I love all of your music so thank you for the inspiration:)

I’m so glad you posted it! I’ve been checking in every now and then after you told me about it. Can’t believe I almost missed it… 😓
Ooh open mics for poetry? I don’t even have a clue if that’s a thing where I live.
That sounds awesome! I might have to research that.I’m so happy you like the music I post 💕
I could never sing though 🫣
Respect to you! And your son!

As we would say back in the day, “I’ll give it a 99.8. It’s got heart, it’s got soul, and a beat you can dance too.” So where can I get the album?? Tell me there’s an album. Way to go Adelphina, Gus and Ricky. Rock On!! -Curt

@anyone doubting the power of coops/update
Posted on StarsRite And SongUTD (very very small forum) but still 66 listens.
Plus posted on Gitaarnet.nl/forum.
The counter there says 245, so a steady 20 people (musicians) per day who come to listen to this.A very nice way to start a new week!
Kind regards, Gus

Yes, I can hear that silence. It’s the silence of a mother whose son has been cut down in a gang war or a war in a foreign country. Or the anguish of needing formula for our kids but no money to buy it. It’s the search for decent work, but not enough education to get it. Its the cries of children hiding under desk when the gunman came to school.…Read More
