I hope the tea still retained some flavor.
AS Tom Petty sang, “the waiting is the hardest part.”
This poem shows real love and patience with a long term relationship.
They can work…I was in a couple of them…eventually it became too much…but for quite some time, we hung in there.
I feel the emotion of this.

Ah, the active waiting while also having to move on with the life you still have. When you truly love someone, they stay in your heart forever, and you perfectly captured that here.

It’s funny how when they’re alive and they go to the store or some other mundane chore, some may never think about them. And yet when their departure is permanent we can’t get them out of our minds.
