    • Chère C.,
We’ve an allotment garden (edge of Amsterdam – so we’re rich) and use lavender as a separation between patches of veggies. We don’t have to (will never) use chemicals and as a bonus, all the bees in the neighbourhood love us. They set our garden in motion, because they constantly move the lavender flowers with their weight.

      30 meters of lavender? Easily!
You just made me think of all the lavender we’ve chopped, bound and hung in the log cabin. The whole cabin smells lovely.
How lovely that you posted this poem.
      Warm regards, Gus

Underneath the frostand frozen hearts.Underneath the lonelinessin shadowed rooms.Something small, powerful—a dim pulse, barely there, but consistent.A heat without a name. And these days?Well, I’m...

  • Litany of False Worship

(To be recited in twilight, before extinguished candles and broken mirrors.)   I kneel before the god who never asked. I light a candle that was never wax. I speak the name that was never given. I offer truth wrapped in illusion.   You wear robes...
