lavendar feelling

Summary:
lavendar garden scent love
lavendar sung for me
gently as the wind blew carrying its fragrance
such a beautiful melody my soul alone could hear
purple delicate and true
revealed what was still good

my thoughts vibrate with their song
the humming carried me along
understanding flora connecting me to the Earth
my mother who feels my pain

the dirt ground me
and the sky welcomes
trees bend to take note
of the secrets whispered in the garden

filling me with happiness
a healing sound, a nuturing feeling
a soft breeze and a scent of honesty washes over me
giving my soul ill at ease...peace

    1. Chère C.,
We’ve an allotment garden (edge of Amsterdam – so we’re rich) and use lavender as a separation between patches of veggies. We don’t have to (will never) use chemicals and as a bonus, all the bees in the neighbourhood love us. They set our garden in motion, because they constantly move the lavender flowers with their weight.

      30 meters of lavender? Easily!
You just made me think of all the lavender we’ve chopped, bound and hung in the log cabin. The whole cabin smells lovely.
How lovely that you posted this poem.
      Warm regards, Gus
