Chère Gus,
Your words make me smile – you know how to slip inside a poem and stroke it from the inside. I love that you felt the artwork too, a proof that desire can be lush, indulgent… without harm. (or can it?)
And yes… people are animals too. The difference is, we pretend we’re tame – until someone bares their teeth, or leaves scratches down your back. haha (but if I bite you know I am excited and you are doing something so right) Perhaps that’s the secret pulse you caught in the poem: pleasure, hunger, and the little cruelty of always wanting more. 😉

Feels like old times seeing you again Kx
Boy, have I missed your writing and you. Feels like eons…
Well you didn’t disappoint, my hunger is rising and your picture, well you always know how to stir the pot, maybe you’ll let me lick it clean !
BIG LIKE

Mmm… so it really has been far too long, hasn’t it? I’ve missed the way you let that hunger spill right through your words. Stirring the pot is half the fun… I love stirring the pot if it means I am going to get spanked hard and … * nevermind, innocent look * and teasing you with a little taste, letting you wonder just how messy I’ll let that pot get before you lick it clean. 😈🔥 Thanks for the BIG LIKE, and that RL award? I’ll take it… naked.

Careful… it’s always hot over here, and I might sneak in and let you push me back against the oven door. Feel me shiver as the heat seeps into my skin, while your lips trace fire over me. I’d melt for you, drip for you, beg for you… and then I’d make you burn just as wildly, until we’re both too undone to tell where the heat ends and we begin. Okay I get carried away easily… I swear my mind is permanently in the gutter…

I knew you are the sentimental type Adagio even if you hide it… but still you surprised me. And I have to admit, hearing that feels nice. I like knowing my words aren’t just read, but felt – that they leave you with an experience. Careful though… if you keep saying things like that, I might start expecting more sweet confessions from you.

Passionately penned, Kristina. This was piping hot straight from the oven. A sweet and gooey concoction indeed. Deliciously written my friend, excellent write. Appreciate you.

Mmm… piping hot, gooey, and tempting – you make me blush the way you describe tasting my words, Damian. Maybe I should keep baking them up just to see how hungry I can make you. Your appetite is always appreciated. 🔥😉 sweet and gooey is only the surface. Beneath the sugar there’s intense heat, bite, and something far more decadent. I love that you tasted the fire in this one.

How did I miss this Krispie slice of sensual fruit pie? You remain an orchard of midnight promise. Glad you are still quill’ing an’ all.

How sad that all things must change. I can relate in some ways just walking out my front door and seeing rows of houses where once woods where we played sat. All my childhood friends left when they heard of other boroughs moving in. They were right. I can imagine how hard it must be for you to go back and see a different world, one not so loving.

This poem is full of gentle nostalgia – the raspberries, the cows, the hills all bring the past vividly to life. It’s quietly profound, and I could almost step into that memory myself. Beautifully done, j

Phenomenally penned, Jacob. Love the nostalgic flavor, and the memories in a small corner of a past universe. Excellent write my friend. Appreciate you.

Some say you should never go back. Not me, I am a great one for nostalgia. Things change, not always for the better, but memories last a lifetime. Fabulous poem and your latest book title too. I love our bovine friends. Can remember walking through meadows myself as a child.

Oh yeah, everyday life can suck badly sometimes! The more valuable it is to have someone at your side who is well balanced and reminds you that getting upset about small things is only waste of time and energy. We can’t change them anyway. Much more important is to focus on the things that are really meaningful to you and that you can have impact on!

I concur with Sappho, and hope everyone has (or finds) someone that keeps them grounded in this way. Awesome write, my friend!

Sounds like you found that rare individual who grounds you. I have one of those too. The world is getting harder to find center in. Everything feels poised to set us off. Finding that pin-point of calm in all that is a treasure. Beautifully written, my friend

Chère K.,
Hope this finds you well.
In a burst of connection with the internet, I reread your 4 recent poems with a lot of pleasure.
And (surprise, surprise) here’s another gem.
I love it a lot and the artwork as well. Veggie proof! There’s a lot possible without suffering from animals.
People are animals too?
Hmmmm…..
Warmest greetings, as always, Gus
