If you come back to me
You will make my day
Worth
my life is nothing without you
I need somebody
That can cheer me up
When I am feeling down
In the dumps
You say I should smile more often
Because I have a beautiful smile
Yes smile is the best medicine there is
You say I am too serious
Maybe you are right -

You just can take your eyes of me
Also I live in peace
With myself
I am so happy that you keep me
Alive every day
Yes father you were there
When I went through hard times
Yes I had paid a high price
Father people say I am perfect
That is not me
I will never be perfect
Because I am human
And I make mistakes
I never can go back and…Read More -

we were young once

but beyond that…
in ways you cannot quantify
a youth borne of possibility
maybes still on the horizon
with wide open eyes
taking chances…
for the sheer joy of doing
because of the challenge it represented…
the suspicion…
it had never before been tried

April 30th: LOVE at Last Bite
April 30th arrives
with teeth made of twilight.
Not sharp,
not cruel,
just precise,
the kind of bite
that ends a month
without drawing blood. It is the moment
when April leans in,
slowly,
deliberately,
and takes its last bite
out of everything
you thought this month was.A bite of memory,
a…Read More - Load More Posts

I’ve found that more often than not, people translate words through whatever filter they’re currently struggling with. It may not have anything to do with us even. But our words have impact, not always how we meant them, and their responses have an equal impact. Words are powerful and because of that, can be dangerous. Even if unintended. I feel this one
