    • It’s all in the details. The little nuances that leans elegantly one direction or the other. This one takes me places

    • Powerfully penned, Fia. Another excellent write my friend. It’s the minute details isn’t it? Nicely done as always. Appreciate you, cuz.

    • This is a very reflective piece.

I can sense a lot of careful concentration from the writer.

I admire the determination throughout the stanzas.

This is a dark but incredible read. x

  • The Pitch

    There is dark
    And there is pitch
It’s funny how dark can feel comforting

And I know there is only one thing left to do

    Then there is the pitch

I was given it on silver plater

    To die for

I can not take what is not mine
    Can land really be mine
The oil and coal pillage from m…Read More

    • In Indigenous culture and belief, no one owns the land, we inherit it and are part of it and must share and protect it, leaving it in better shape for future generations. I think this is a much better culture, belief, and morality than what we have in today’s world. I like your poem because it points to this kind of understanding. A very fitting…Read More

  • A little dream

    Clouds rolling in softly
    Delicately like a purr
    Wrapped in warm cotton
Trailing thoughts of a time of tenderness

Inner eye awakens to a place
    Where safety is given
    Love is freely accepted
And a genuine smile is cherished

Let me not wake from this
Wanting to hold and be held
    In a world of nonreality
    Let me have…Read More
