Well, Dear Fia 🎭
Life is a stage upon which unfathomable joys and dramas are played-out; often, unexpectedly enchanting or equally as painful … and, we seldom know what the outcome of looming scenes will be.
Still, when the heart is filled with joy, the saddest moments are those when happiness bows out.
It may seem odd to compliment one’s poetry when it’s so forlorn … yet, I must acknowledge your knack for using words to paint vividly relatable emotions and sensational feelings upon the canvases of our own hearts ‘n souls. Still, we know so very well how friends often hug and make up, eh?
Beautifully, sorrowfully rendered, Dear Poetess! ⁓ Richard🖌

Diction: consider “heeded, And, who”.
I am that friend that will back off when heeded
And, that friend who takes the call when neededDid you mean “off” course?
things have gone of course(love your writing, of course) 🍷

hello beautiful Fia I am often too needy probably due to childhood traumas so I hold onto relationships that no longer work because I usually need people more than they need me… also I am very intense which is hard to take if you happen to be that rare person I let really know me…it’s always been that way with me I do better one on one than in a group setting the group mindset has ruined more than one of my friendships…people usually desire to be popular instead…I will never fit within a mold I have tried earnestly but society is unyielding with all it’s codes and judgements…almost all of my friends have been more like you in that you are a strong personality and you would be honest with me…I appreciate that trait…I love being social but shy away from it because I have no filter and I’m no good at it…anyway keep being you and I feel you on feeling behind the scenes even when it hurts not to show it…I admire that abilty it’s all too evident on my face when I’m hurt great write ❤️

Powerfully penned, Fia. Well this one grabbed me by the heartstrings and I can definitely relate to the subject matter as you well know my friend. The dreaded “Our friendship ran its course.” Been on both sides of that equation, neither was fun. I’ve had it said to me mostly, I’m loyal to a fault as well. The only time I said it was as a means of survival. Excellent write. Sorry you’re having to go through this. Appreciate you, cuz.

I’ve found that people don’t grow at the same pace. And when one outgrown the other, it causes growing pains most unexpected. I’ve experienced this from both sides and it sucks from every angle.

This is an incredible piece.
A soul-crushing insight into how connections can get so complicated.
I use to have close friends until I out grew them all. And now, I find it better to be alone and enjoy my own space.
What I did notice is that most of my friends turned against me as I outgrew them. Tragic its own way.
Not everyone can stay the same forever. We all grow and embrace the changes that we become. x

Your poem resonated my experience with friends I caught up with after years of absence but who dropped me quickly after a brief reunion. The emotions here are strongly conveyed with super poetic flow that carried through like a sad but exquisite dream. You write your heart so well my friend.

The thing about wounds is that if we don’t get them clean before they seal, infection will begin the rot. And that is toxic. Fierce statement here, Fia

You have a strong voice Fia. A voice that says what needs to be said, that keeps it real. And you put that voice into your art. Loved reading your poem Fia.

Damn woman! Who got your knickers in a bunch? LOL
Kidding. I love a good kick ass write. I like confidence! You really got your points across for sure. Very creatively at that.

Super charged into a poetic poem of powerful emotions for this person who judges and whom in the end your let go with your hopes for their better future. You put great heart into this poem and I could feel your words like a piece of music that kept me rapt throughout.
