Hello everyone,
I hope those of you dealing with snow are staying safe, and those facing other weather mayhem are holding strong.
There are a few important things I’d like to share.
First BOOK CON!
Hypo Frost and Stars Rite will be represented at this year’s event by yours truly. To all of our authors: I have purchased your books, and they will be featured on the table. If you are part of the Hypo Frost magazine, you will also be represented.
Stars Rite is a growing community that I wholeheartedly believe in. Each of you is incredibly talented, I see it every single day. I’ll be posting pictures from the event and sharing highlights of what takes place.
Next, I need to address posting guidelines.
This is a writing site first and foremost. Yes, we support erotica — but there are limits. If you choose to post images, please ensure they are in good taste. If an image is graphic or explicitly depicts a sexual act, I ask that you crop or reconsider it. The writing should lead the reader into the experience, not the image.
Please take time to review the Rules and Regulations.
That brings me to another important matter. I respect the entrepreneurial spirit, truly. However, you may not use this site to promote another platform. If a site were closing, that would be different. But this is a new and growing community. Directly advertising another site to draw members away is not acceptable.
There is a description box for a reason. Share who you are, what you do, and you may mention that you have a site. But posting in a way that feels like a redirect or a slap in the face to this community is not appropriate.
Finally, thank you.
Thank you for your suggestions, your patience, and your support as we improve and build. Progress may feel slow at times, but it will be worth it.
