I’m so glad, Mr. Dragon! Ironically, I was just on DUP and had a note from administration that they wanted to include this poem in the DUP Anthology under dark poetry. I happily gave them permission.

So, the first line of this poem is captivating and sets the tone. It could almost be a poem unto itself. I like how you explore this relationship for the reader, the feelings and dissolved expectations… the emptiness left and the questions we never want to be answered.
