April 26th – Water, Dust, and the Space Between Us
April 26th returns
like a remote memory,
one of those pale, trembling ones
that no longer knows
if it belongs to you
or to the air around you.It brings back
what it was
between the two of us,
not the words,
not the gestures,
not even the moments,
but the texture of it,
the faint…Read More -

Silence
Sit in silence
Watch and observe
They tell you things that are unspoken
As they are speakingHidden truths
Covered in a blanket of lie’s
Design to confusePracticed smiles
Paired with dead eyes
You wait…Wait to see what’s the hook
What’s the product
What’s the goalThere is only one purpose
When you approach…Read More -

Thank you Crimsin. I go through times when I am very quiet and I notice things that I normally would not. It’s just a thought that came to me to write about.

Powerfully penned, Fia. Another excellent write my friend. I think being quiet and observing allows us to see things we normally miss because we’re paying attention instead of talking or communicating. Just my opinion though. lol. Nicely done as always. Appreciate you, Cuz.

I don’t think most people are comfortable around others who are silent.Silence scares them because they might have to confront themselves honestly.
I really like this one Fia.
Funny though, even the silent ones sometimes talk too much….but I feel that might be a coping strategy for anxiety.🙏

I guess no one would like to be around me because I’m always quite even whether Im around people or alone.
Me I like the silence myself

right now

We used to say “seize the day, seize the hour,” and after reading your poem Willow, I might add, “the time is now, seize the power”. The power of camaraderie and not allowing anything to stand in the way. I think Anise Nin would be happy with your poem, Willow. It is alive with the passion of sharing experiences of the now. Beautifully written, Willow.
