A musical genius. Prince was just built different when it comes to talent and creativity my friend. Awesome song, the whole soundtrack is amazing. Also I’m a fan of the movie. Morris Day playing his rival as the frontman of “The Time”. So many memories. Appreciate you – Damian

I love this revenge piece!
It’s bold, daring and powerful.
I embrace your inner strength throughout the stanzas.
I’m totally hooked…

There’s a grit here that tastes like smoke and victory—scorched bridges and unbroken will.
I love how it doesn’t just rise from ashes; it struts, unafraid, daring the past to even try again. -
Cowards die a thousand times but the courageous only once.
Courage you don’t lack and that is reflected in this uplifting piece.

Powerfully penned, Willow. Into the book it belongs! Excellent write but I expect nothing less from you my friend, and you always deliver the goods. The grit as Thomas put it, is chef’s kiss.. You hit this one out of the park! Like a phoenix you have risen from the ashes. I like in the movie “Death To Smoochy” when the one guy said: “I’ve risen like a beautiful Phoenix, or some other town in Arizona!” lol. I’ll get more marshmallows for the bonfire my friend. Appreciate you.

I concur with Fia when I say Damn! The power and freedom in this is palpable! Damning and wonderful. One hell of a read!

I like how your poem methodically draws the reader in. Perhaps time management is what separates the men from the boys. There is a difference between a kiss and a lip service. Desire is a language…very uniquely true.
