    • For me, your ability to feel compassion and empathy (even while scorned) speaks the loudest here. I am also certain you’re aware, deep down, that the offender will pay the piper in the end, without anyone’s help. Pillars of sand always wash away, my friend. Interesting and fantastic vent!

    • Dear C,

I echo the thoughts of Detritus. The story line in this piece is very thoughtful of the unknowing party and bringing the offenders dirt into the open will mock what she’s built. Fabulous insight, also protective at your own expense. Sad subject, terrific writing. H🌷

    Empty Eyes

On the outside, sometimes her eyes are full of life.Full of happiness.Or devoid of life,in the starry might. Sometimes they twinkle and glow.Sometimes she breaks down and tears flow. But if you look closer just one day. You'll find emptiness, but not all the...

    • Chère A.,
      Short and sweet.
It resonates with me a lot.
Saturday night at the movies was replaced with FRIMIBO (Dutch for Friday Afternoon Drinks).
And then, as more and more people stopped working in the office on Fridays, to DOMIBO. Thursday afternoon alcoholic with colleagues.

I like a bit of fun very much, but after that I increasingly long for some peace and quiet.

And you made me aware of that again.
      Wonderful write!
      More more more! (Please).
      Warm regards, Gus;

    • Thank you Gus. Happy holidays.

  • Happy New Year’s to all the poets at Stars Rite (even though I don’t celebrate the new year until April 1st, the REAL new year, and only fools feel otherwise) Keep on ritin’!!

    • This caught my eye the most and I could not shake it. Looking for the higher power and as you look its like a rush of happiness. very interesting piece of work
      “my energy burns
      in the demiurge Sun,
      turning the worm
      as bird songs die
      on a dopamine high”

    • This vibe hits hard with some heavy, cryptic and foreboding tones.
      Straight diggin this!!

      Much respect
