Just want to have fun

Hello everyone and I hope you are having a wonderful summer. It has been a long time since I’ve posted a story and a poem, I guess. Well, a poem was posted recently so it’s not that long ago.

I’m going to start this new series called Fia Thoughts and life as a poetess and writer. Which is kind of redundant to be a poet you are writing but we know what I mean.

This first entry will be about having fun with poetry.

When I started writing poetry again, I was in a state of playfulness. It was almost like drinking a lot of sugary drinks and I just wanted to talk and write with everyone. I expressed how I feel at the moment and enjoyed every single comment. There were those comments that I didn’t enjoy and I am not going to lie and say that I took it graciously.

I took it as arms crossed and heat escaping the top of my head. Yeah, wouldn’t it’s called that gracious. Still, I enjoy it.

There are times that I’m not in a good mood and you can see it in in the poetry or in a part of the writing that I’m doing that I was very and then emotional state.

The thing is I don’t like staying in a down state of mind all the time. I like writing and challenging myself in poetry. Behind the scenes I will give myself prompts and see where it goes from there.

When we started here on Stars Rite, I was doing collaborations in poetry which I may start again this fall because it’s very interesting when you have two different style writers come together for the same theme and how their minds work to make it mesh well.

I feel that poetry shouldn’t always have to be a somber situation. Poetry is an expressive state of mind and there are times that my poetry is going to take you from the front door to the bedroom real fast because that’s how my mind is going. Or if I’m ticked off then it goes to a whole different other space.

I have fun with poetry. I enjoy reading everyone’s poems and seeing what I come up with in my interpretation and then reading the comments of what other people came up with because I didn’t see that, but you did.

I guess I just wanted to start this off with it being lighthearted and not so much of the technicalities of how a poem should be written and who it should be geared for. So if you want to keep up with me and my thoughts on poetry and writing just keep an eye out. I can’t tell you when I post I usually post things when I move to and the fact that I’m doing a lot of administrative work for stores right it is hard to get things done for fun.

I will be on a lot more this September and not just you seeing my face. I will post a lot more and be more engaging like I used to be. With saying that you can always reach out to me and talk I love to have conversations and those who know I can be funny. Well at least to me. lol
