Secret Ride (magic of Poetic Voice)
He came at night,
On a wind of heat.
A bead of sweat,
On lips so sweet.
“Come with me”
He whispered close.
They are all asleep,
Said, my sexy host.
I crawled out of bed.
On crumpled sheets.
A teddy that cling,
To my heat.
Just be quiet.
It will be fun.
No one will know,
Not even one.
Once inside the fun began.
I held on,
To my mystery man.
The ride was fast.
Loose and free.
For that night was meant for me.
Once it was over,
And I was back in bed.
A whispered goodbye.
And a kiss on my head.
When the dawn rose,
And I saw the first rays,
I went to my window,
And there he stood,
And there he stays.

Ahhh, Fia
I so love and enjoy the fun of how you’ve used your amazingly gifted poetic voice to blend the vibrant colors, hues, and textures of your deliciously delightful diction to paint word pictures into our joy-filled imaginations, in such ways it all comes to life.
Your short lines build a quick cadence, and with spot-on line-bnreaks, rhymes, and enjambments create an excellent Skeltonic Verse poem, so reminscent of “The Night Before Christmas”.
And, ohhh how Santa happily appreciates rewarding a nice girl when she’s being so secretively naughty! ; )
Well, I imagined your lover as Santa, but he could easily have been any sensually endowed man of your dreams, even a stutue viewed from your window, that came to life for an unforgettably enthralling, romantic evening.
“A teddy that cling, (‘clings’ or ‘clung’)
To my heat.”
But, I love the imagery of these two visually enticing lines, and your eye-candy title, too.
Techy hint: You might consider separating your verses to lend an easier read, with more of a free feeling ambiance to the whole.
Exemplaty wotk, Dear Poetess … thank you for always joining-in.
You learn so well, and “never” disappoint! ⁓ Richard
