channeler

Summary:
I think we writers are very sensitive to the worlds around us...
bringer of noise, silence is golden
hush now faith, I am in meditation
where I falter in the world, is my connection

I’m a channeler of the unknown
sometimes attracting the restless spirits
who roam in the open and yet remain quite hidden

there is naught I can do, they know I hear them
bidden to come closer, have your say and be off with you
the darkness grows bright for a moment
then with an enchantment and a prayer I bind anything wicked

empathy leads me down spiritual paths
my mind awakened to the way
all nature sings of the chaos

kept in an orderly fashion
a balance is always maintained
with my thoughts I seek wisdom
and do not understand the importance of picking up on the dank of emotion

not to notice, I would have to be blind and without any feeling
so I scribe what I hear as I am gifted
it is a blessing and a curse
the words come and I release them

censoring only when deemed necessary
sometimes I write the same sentence ten different ways
before I realize it will be told
this story will be birthed into the world unbidden
