The PARTY!
Mmmm-ahhhhh!
How wonderful … first morning’s stretch. Rubbing his stubbled face, he makes a note to shave nice and close for her oh-so soft skin!
Rising proudly, his tanned body greeted by morning’s chill, he steps over to the window and pulls the curtains aside to greet early sun’s wild glory.
There is always a special feeling of peace and tranquility that envelopes him when the tingling of the sun’s radiance warms his nakedness through the windowpane, and somehow all the world seems perfect in the moment.
The spell is soon over; the day calls, and he has miles to go before the evening’s activities begin with another of her well-orchestrated parties.
He has tried to go along with whatever makes her happy, but there is no understanding or consideration when her plans exclude any participation of his own desires and needs, but c’est la vie! That’s the way the cookie crumbles, how the tail wags the dog, what happens when you teach what you tolerate, and a dozen more of her agitating platitudes and worn out clichés he’s heard more times than he cares to recall.
Before anything else, he loves to feel the surf-rippled sand sifting up through his toes on the way to an invigorating plunge in the cold surf, with the blessed promise of a steamy shower to follow.
This morning routine is the only intransigent contentment and real luxury he’s allowed, and he takes full advantage of it in all seasons. It keeps him young and vigorous, the mind lucid and enthusiastically alive, and so his day begins….

After a cold, vigorous swim, the steamy shower felt sensationally soothing. But, as I briskly towel-off in the afterglow, there comes the bark of her staccato voice from across the bedroom, spewing forth through strikingly soft, sensuous lips. There is anger and vengeance in every frosted breath, landing in my ears like emptying lakes of crimson fire.
I thought: “What in hell could be so damned wrong now, to excite her into such a raucous tirade?”
Framed by the doorway in nothing more than a pink lace chemise, the sunlight outlining her lithe frame, and suddenly she grows silent, the most alluring smile spreads across her lips, and following her eyes down, I instantly know why. It is my stronghold over her, she never can resist my … er, charm.
In an instant she pinned herself against me, wrapping my freshly toweled body in her warm silkiness, and takes me as gently and smoothly as a whispered feather.
We hold our own party in the tousled sheets and sunlit room … our planning needed barely any preparation at all, and you know something? I never did find out what she was so upset about, and I still need that shave, but she didn’t seem to mind.
Uh-oh! There’s that smile again!
“Talk to you all later, much later … at tonight’s party, perhaps.”

This is cute. It had me giggling. Thanks for sharing it.
Ah, Dear Fia 🌈🌻
It makes me feel so happy to please you in such a delightful fashion, and the thought of you “giggling” lifts this grateful bard’s heart and brightens his day … smiles ‘n hugs sent your way.
Thank you ever-so warmly! ⁓ Rascal🖌
Well, now I see why you’ve adopted the name, “rascal”. That cold ocean water made me think of California and a certain angry female who…I’d better stop here. I believe you had fun with this, and it rubbed off on me. (Metaphorically)
LOL! I like the metaphorical allusion.
So, ya think the nickname fits, eh?
Sam, I know well of California’s chilly surf, but the angry lady surely primes a keen interest … with your rancotueric skills, I can only imagine what an enterttaining tale could be told. ; )
Indeed, you’re correct … I compose very few stories; especially, of sensual genre, and this one was fun.
Thank you ever-so gratefully, Sam, for the nice read ‘n review! ⁓ Richard “Rascal”🖌
