Unbutton me
slowly
not because you must,
but because you enjoy the undoing.
Let your fingers linger
at each clasp,
as if patience
were a kind of hunger
and you’ve decided
to feast on anticipation.
Pull the fabric aside
like a curtain
revealing something sacred.
Let your mouth follow
the path your hands started
down my throat,
across my collarbone,
lower,
lower,
to the heat that rises
just for you.
I want you to explore me
like a man discovering
his favorite sin.
I want you to make a map
of my reactions
the gasp,
the ache,
the low sound I only make
when I’m touched
just right.
unbutton me.
until there is nothing between
your hunger and mine.

Chère G.,
What A write!
I knew a thing or two about buttons, I thought.
But this is something else!
And the artwork matches the poem. Beautiful!
Slow and sexy as hell.
I’ll be back tomorrow for another dose of eye Candy!
Till then….
Warm regards, Gus
Gus, you made me smile. I’m glad the piece unbuttoned something unexpected for you. Thank you for the warmth, and for seeing both the poem and the art so fully. I’ll keep the eye‑candy coming. 🙂
Chère G.,
The special thing about this, is that right now it is 4.00 in the morning.
And I’m some 1.500 km’s from home.
The same as yesterday actually.
So, if i say, with love from the Amsterdam fanclub, that’s what Poetic license is about isn’t it?
In short: love your writes everywhere.
Warm regards, Gus
Thank you for sending a little Amsterdam warmth across the miles. It means more than you know that the words travel well, wherever you are. Safe wandering… and thank you for reading me everywhere. 🙂
That undoing…ever so sensual and definitely something to be savored. Lovely write!
Hello Curly,
This is an outstanding piece of poetry. Lovely, passionate and very erotic. The words, the image and details are captivating.
