Summary:
sadness...

ascending the stairs of stars
My thoughts wind their way through the celestial
grieving as I go, leaving behind stardust
a mixture of sorrow and madness

wandering the immortal unrecognized
Reverse the curse and open my eyes
It is as it should be

A great book opens, and I am an unknown
a misfit born of the universe
The gods themselves know me
But it is better not to mention

my grief ignored
My sadness, birds that complain too much
undulating insanity, I oscillate between lucidity and delusion
According to my moods

It is with great sacrifice that I put myself away
pretending all is fine
My depression is deep
It drinks from the sunflowers
until even they fail to shine

Secrets, great and small, oppress me
spilling from my lips a plea
In the Onyx Kingdom, once adored
now forgotten lore

My crimes, too great
My feeling is blamed
My guilt is feeling too much
sacred understanding, I am no longer needed

You paint Van Gogh with the brush stroke of words 🌼

    2. You can take even melancholy and turn it into high art This has such exquisite emotional resonance for me as I read tonight. You have great talent my friend and it shines even through your dark clouds.
