Summary:
a collaboration, thank you, dearest Daniel

An Enchantment laced in ice…
chilled in the winter
of the distance between us.

Our lips embrace but do not touch.
Lips that are silvered and luminous
in the pale moonlight.

In this life I fade,
So a great song,
can be sung.

My faith in the shadows
singing poetic psalms
coded in metaphor.

The beauty of the universe’s
deadly faith is a double-edged sword.
Watch your footing in the land of the dead.

There is a great riddle to be cracked,
You are to taste the fruits
to see what is true.

Alas!
All is not as it seems
in the land of Nod.

The fire rolls from your tongue,
crashing as thunder,
The force, lighting up my sky.

Two paths are evident,
One is fraught with peril
the other death.

I’m aghast by what lies between
Frozen souls affected
by the scourge of false verse.
