Senses Of Death

HomePoetrySenses Of Death

The wind was heavy
Howling with uncertainty
A darkness was felt
Creeping shadows of eternity

Whispers tickled my neck
Shivering my twisted spine
A realm where heaven and hell
And purgatory intertwine

My moistened quivering lips
Tasted my decaying breath
Exhaling my scraped bones
An inevitability of death

Silohettes of spirits converged
Haunting prisms of synergy
A spectrum of absolute darkness
Draining my waining energy

Shadows of a skeleton
Dissolve under silent thunder
As his razor sharp scthye
Drags me permanently under
