- Faith’s Musings (featuring the talented Willow)
- On The Brink (with Keith – Visions_of_Insanity)
It’s arriving today
Our own extinction
Created with hate
For evil we annihilate
Been digging graves
Under a blood red moon
Until the enemy caves
Falling like a lead balloon
Filling our lungs
With winds of death
Crushing our bones
And burning our flesh
Air raid siren screams
Feeling panic build inside
Acid infested streams
Death rolls in with the tide
Our world is under siege
Because of “their” reign
For those who survive
Nothing but torment, famine and pain
In silence they corrupt
As time slows to a crawl
Guttural growls disrupt
Painted sky about to fall
This fucking mess within our world
Death & carnage in every town
Human hate was used to destroy
Imminent doom is all around
Force fed all this negativity
Wealthy elites funding genocide
Children crying in captivity
Wear the microchip or be denied

Absolutely love how this starts as a declaration, a protest poem at its finest. I might be wrong, but this piece has got a punk/metal feel to it. “painted sky about to fall” is probably my favourite image. And there are a lot of vivid contenders. Great work!!! thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Kay. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I dig that line as well. Between Keith and I there are some great lines in this one. I can see the punk/metal vibe. I guess we could split the difference and say it has a Motörhead vibe.. Appreciate you.

This is such a solid piece. The two of you wove together a genuinely great message that feels cohesive and meaningful. I agree with Kay-1, this does have a punk/metal feel to it. It has a certain energy that doesn’t accept a cage, that’s for sure!
Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the write my friend. It was a pretty cohesive message I agree. Nothing is caged when it comes to Keith, he got the ball rolling on this one, I just followed his lead. I told Kay to just split the difference between punk and metal, and let’s say it has a Motörhead vibe. Appreciate you, sis.
