Nothing matters, no one matters, all of us will die
No one exists here on purpose, reality a lie
Trying to put meaning in your life
but there is no grand design
You’re searching for a spark that doesn’t exist
Your empty feelings and morals dismissed
If you died
no one would cry
There is no way that in infinite worlds your actions have any meaning
We are just atoms floating and splitting
creating and destroying
over and over, for no real reason
no explanation given
There is no grand plan or purpose for you
You might as well be a chicken

Appreciate it Damian. Thank you!!
This is really impressive dear Keith! We don’t know what the thereafter will bring. I think it is most important to listen to this little inner voice telling us what’s wrong or right. Therefore I try to speak and act in order to be helpful to others. I feel that this is the right thing to do..
Thank you Elke for your kind words. xo
This is stark and unapologetic. The poem commits fully to its worldview, and that honesty gives it weight.
Appreciate the observation and kind words. Thanks Thomas
